"Street to Style with J"

I'm so excited to share this article I wrote and styled for the current issue of Brink Magazine! We pulled guys off the street and gave them makeovers. This was my first time styling men, so let me know how you think I did! :-)

This is just awesome. Truly. You are very talented and creative. I really feel like it's just a matter of time until I see you with your own cable show on a channel like TLC. I'm definitely hooked on your blog!

Seriously, you did a great job. All of the afters are relateable and flattering on the models.

Congrats! What a great job, they should all feel very comfortable in the new outfits you chose. And what a huge difference for Steve.

Ben loved his outfit, Chris is a really quiet guy but from what I could tell he really liked it, and Steve was in a huge hurry so I have no idea, LOL! :-)

Haha, yes, Steve was in a big hurry, but the great part about Steve's upgrade was how polished you had him looking for the "after." He went from schlub to style with a few simple tweaks. You pulled out some great stuff. What I liked best about what you did with Chris was that you kept his personality intact. He was very quiet and didn't really have a style, but bringing in some color completely transformed him. J, you killed it! xx

This is awesome! I've been wondering about men's fashion and if you'd get into it... or if there are any men's fashion blogs you recommend? I'm looking to revamp my husband's wardrobe!

Michelle, this is probably one of the only times I will cover men's fashion. Simply because I don't have any models! (my hubby only owns uniform work shirts and soccer jerseys) But it was a lot of fun!
