Today's Flashback Friday is going to blow your mind. Even I'm a bit shocked at how versatile black skinny jeans can be! They work with black shoes, brown shoes, gray shoes, nude shoes, leopard print, polka dots, denim shirts, gold sequins.... does it get any better than that? My other favorite thing about these jeans - you can hardly tell they are jeans. You could wear them to work and totally pull them off as dress pants. Go ahead, I won't tell. ;-)

I agree I have a couple of pairs of black skinny pants and they work with EVERYTHING. I mean I have to rerain from using htem everytime I go out since it goes with all the cute tops.
Black skinnies are on my fashion wish list right now. You're totally right with how versitile they are. My favorite looks of yours is the bottom row, second from last on the right. I remember the Gap inspiration photo.

I love all of them! In fact, you inspred my work outfit today; although, I have the pant equivalent to these jeans, ALA GAP.
They are too tight for the work force, but I LOVE the gray vest look the best!
I think it's tough to generalize the "work force" because everyone's office has such different dress codes. (unless you are saying that these jeans are too tight for me in general, which I would disagree with, but if that were the case, then they would be inappropriate anywhere not just at work!!)
Another thing to keep in mind - wearing baggy clothes is JUST as inappropriate as wearing something that is too tight. If you show up in a blazer and dress pants that are too big, you look sloppy and completely unprofessional! Works both ways. :-)
I love the number 1 with jean shirt/cardigan for the casual day and number 8 with gold sequins for the night . Great recap.

I really like look #8 because this looks like you are ready for a night out. It is fun and sassy, but very tasteful all at the same time. Great multi use article of the black skinny jean!
My faves are 1, 7, 8, and 9. I'd wear 7 and 9 to work.
I was never a big fan of skinny black jeans but now when i see those outfits i say they just like blue jeans but classier love how you manage to dress it up or down. thank you for the inspiration :)

These jeans are by Gap. That's where I get most of my jeans, they work really well on my bod! ;-)
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I just found your blog today and am in love (that doesn't happen too often! :). I've gone back so many pages and have been loving it.
I would wear all these looks to work EXCEPT the ones with the lace-up booties. My absolute favourite is top row, #4 with the grey (Aldo) booties. I feel like I've worn this outfit OR am looking at myself, almost (umm... that's a little creepy)...

i just wore my black skinny jeans tonight with a long ripped tank, black suede Steve Madden booties, studded leather jacket & multi chain necklace. I have to admit, its a look I wouldn't have considered until a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for the inspiration J! As someone who works in a conservative office, pants that tight just would not work with my boss! But definitely in more creative places!
I absolutely love every outfit - but my two favorites are #6 and #11, and #11 I would definitely wear to work. I've always wondered if it's "ok" to wear pointed toe pumps with skinnies and you rock the look so I'm going to try it!
